Particularly so as it is contradicted in a number of points in the House of Commons, Business, Innovation and Skills Committee, Broadbvand Fourth REport of session 2009 – 10. In addition even that report ignores the need for a much faster infrastructure being designed and implemented starting immediately.

Definitely – this bill is incredibly important yet currently far too influenced by copyright holders. Disconnecting a whole household for the illegal actions of a single person (perhaps a guest or child, or even a WiFi freeloader from nearby) is collective punishment. The likelihood of false accusations (because IP addresses are often faked by anti piracy activists) makes this worse.
